The Pakistan Citizen Portal has been temporarily shut down for a few days to facilitate system upgrades and maintenance aimed at improving its performance and services. According to an official announcement, the Prime Minister’s Office has informed the public that the online complaint and public facilitation platform will remain unavailable during the maintenance period.
The upgrade is intended to improve the portal’s overall functioning and enhance the services offered to citizens. Authorities have stated that the platform will be restored as soon as the necessary work is completed, allowing users to resume submitting complaints and accessing services as usual.
However, the government has not announced a specific date for the restoration of the portal. Authorities have expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by the temporary closure and requested public cooperation and patience during the upgrade process. The announcement was also shared by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
