Unrivaled co-founder Breanna Stewart is back to defend her league title with Mist BC this winter.
The 3-on-3 women’s basketball league on Wednesday revealed the rosters for the 2027 season, and the New York Liberty star is one of three players from last year’s champions who will suit up for the Mist once again when the league tips off in January. Arike Ogunbowale and Veronica Burton are the two other returners, and they will be joined by Izzy Harrison, Bridget Carleton and Kiki Rice.
The league will consist of eight teams with six players each. Rosters change each year to keep the league fresh, but most Unrivaled teams will have players from the same WNBA teams. The Dallas Wings and Toronto Tempo are represented by a league-high six players apiece.
Fresh off being named WNBA Finals MVP, Gabby Williams will play for the Laces alongside her partner Marine Johannes, as well as Jackie Young, Maddy Siegrist and Jess Shepard. Satou Sabally, who missed most of the WNBA season with a persistent head injury, will round out the team.
Atlanta Dream teammates Jordin Canada, Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray will play together on the Vinyl along with Dearica Hamby, Flau’jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow.
The Lunar Owls are composed of three WNBA duos: Courtney Williams and league co-founder Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, Skylar Diggins and Sydney Taylor of the Chicago Sky, and Marina Mabrey and Temi Fagbenle of the Tempo.
Standout WNBA rookies Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron will team up on the Hive alongside Cameron Brink, Natisha Hiedeman, Rae Burrell and Naz Hillmon.
The Phantom, Breeze and Rose are the only teams made up of players from entirely different WNBA squads.
Each team will play 14 games, facing every other team twice. The schedule will be released Friday.
