Rockstar Drops New GTA 6 Screenshots Featuring Jason & Lucia

Rockstar released a fresh batch of screenshots for Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6. The highly anticipated game launches in exactly two weeks on November 19. Yesterday, the developer continued its ongoing streak of Thursday reveals. This latest update provides fans with an exciting glimpse into the lives of protagonists Jason and Lucia.

New GTA 6 Screenshots Give a Closer Look at Jason & Lucia

The new GTA 6 screenshots heavily focus on the game’s central duo. The images showcase Jason and Lucia both individually and working as a team. For instance, players can see the pair actively collaborating to rob a bank. Furthermore, individual action shots display both characters dealing with cops, pointing guns, and driving vehicles.

However, not all the screenshots feature intense criminal action. One particularly laid-back image portrays Jason and Lucia watching the sunrise while sitting on the hood of a car. This quieter moment perfectly contrasts the high-stakes action sequences.

Additionally, Rockstar included fresh strip club scenes in this visual update. Strip clubs remain a staple of the GTA franchise. Consequently, this explicit content instantly sparked social media controversy. Some users publicly vowed to ban their significant others from playing the game.

Consistent Thursday Updates Drive Hype

Despite this small boycott, GTA 6 easily maintains its massive commercial success. In fact, pre-orders have already generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. Sales will likely accelerate even faster as the release date approaches.

This massive wave of momentum started on August 27. Rockstar aired an “Extended Look” presentation and gave fans 30 minutes of direct gameplay. Since that massive hit, Rockstar has reliably issued new updates every single Thursday. Previous Thursday announcements successfully revealed the game’s soundtrack, specially themed controllers, the Collector’s Edition, and the official age rating.

Massive File Size & Pre-Load Details

With the launch rapidly approaching, players must prepare their system storage. Rockstar confirmed that the GTA 6 file size exceeds a massive 200 GB. Fortunately, the developer is giving fans plenty of time to download the game.

GTA 6 pre-loads officially begin on November 10. This gives players more than a week to prepare for the massive launch. Fans must now wait to see if Rockstar plans one final Thursday update next week before the game finally hits the shelves.
