By Xiaomi has confirmed several key details about its upcoming 18 Pro series. The company has now revealed the launch date, colors, displays, and battery capacities. The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch in China on September 23. The lineup will also bring an upgraded rear display and Xiaomi’s new HyperOS 4 software.
One of the biggest changes is a hardware-level privacy display. Xiaomi says the feature will help prevent people nearby from viewing the screen. It is similar to the display technology used on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The new phones will also use Xiaomi’s M11 luminescent panel. The company claims it is 20 percent more efficient than the previous generation. Xiaomi says the display can reach a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. It is also claimed to offer better efficiency than 2K resolution panels. Meanwhile, the bezels will measure just 0.99mm.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will be offered in three colors. Buyers will be able to choose between Black, Galaxy Blue, and White. Battery capacity is another major upgrade for the series. The Xiaomi 18 Pro will pack a 7,000mAh battery. The larger 18 Pro Max will reportedly use an 8,500mAh battery.
Both models will feature Leica-branded triple rear cameras. The setup will include a 200MP primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the 18 Pro series will use a 2nm chipset. The company has not named the chip yet, but it is expected to be Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
