By OnePlus has revealed the design, colors, and memory options for the OnePlus 16. The company has not announced a launch date yet. However, customers in China can now pre-reserve the upcoming flagship. The OnePlus 16 keeps a similar design to the OnePlus 15. The main change comes through its new color options. OnePlus has also added different rear patterns to two of the available finishes.
The flagship will come in Dark Forest, Mars Masterpiece, and Tomorrow Starlight. Dark Forest uses a black finish, while Mars Masterpiece has a light orange look. Tomorrow Starlight comes in grey. The Mars Masterpiece and Tomorrow Starlight versions will have a unique pattern on the rear panel. Meanwhile, the phone will be offered in four memory configurations in China.
Buyers will be able to choose between 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. The device is already available for pre-reservation through OnePlus’ official online store in China. OnePlus has not shared the full specifications yet. Still, the company has confirmed one major display feature. The OnePlus 16 will support a system-wide 165Hz refresh rate.
According to current reports, the phone could use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. It is also rumored to feature a 200MP primary rear camera. The OnePlus 16 is expected to pack a 9,000mAh battery. It may also feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. These specifications have not been officially confirmed by OnePlus.
