By The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has just released the Result Gazette for HSSC Part-II (12th Class) Annual-I Examination 2026. The official document reveals sharp drops in intermediate second-year success rates across the province.
Strict Assessment & Examination Controls
BISE Peshawar applied rigorous standards to examine 66,735 registered 12th-grade candidates across government and private institutions. Examination halls operated under strict surveillance. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras connected test centers directly to headquarters. The board also utilized automated OMR scanning to evaluate multiple-choice sections transparently.
Students who received penalties from the Disciplinary Committee have a 15-day window to file an appeal with the Board Chairman. Furthermore, eligible candidates can apply for grace marks through the one-window service cell by depositing a fee of Rs. 600 at designated branches of ABL or MCB. Private candidates can collect their Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs) from eight regional camp offices, including centers in Hayatabad, Peshawar City, Peshawar Cantt, Charsadda, Shabqadar, Drosh, Chitral, and Badaber. Regular students must collect their DMCs directly from their respective colleges.
BISE Peshawar HSSC Part-II Result Gazette 2026 Statistics
Out of 66,735 candidates who sat for the Part-II examinations, only 35,103 students passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 52.60%. A total of 30,878 candidates failed their examinations, while 754 candidates remained absent.
Performance metrics show that female candidates significantly outpaced male students. Regular female students secured a 74.73% pass rate, producing 2,346 A1 grades. In sharp contrast, regular male students struggled severely, achieving a pass rate of only 39.05% with 21,135 students failing.

Group-Wise Evaluation & Critical Subject Results
The Pre-Medical group remained the largest academic block, fielding 32,442 regular candidates. Regular female pre-medical students achieved a pass rate of 79.21%, while regular male pre-medical candidates managed only 47.11%. General and Computer Science students experienced severe pressure, as regular male candidates in this group recorded a 28.93% pass rate.
Subject-wise analysis shows that mathematics and compulsory Islamic papers caused widespread academic failures. Mathematics recorded a 56.99% pass rate, and General Mathematics dropped to 41.12%. Compulsory Islamic Education saw an unusually low pass rate of 52.87%. Conversely, Biology achieved an 87.77% success rate, English posted 90.53%, Urdu recorded 95.14%, Chemistry recorded 78.26%, and Physics concluded at 75.32%.
