By The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has discontinued the issuance of hard copy result cards, moving entirely to a soft-copy system for intermediate results.
All affected educational institutions have been formally notified of the decision.
According to the spokesperson, result cards for regular candidates have already been uploaded to the respective institutions’ portals, while private candidates can download their result cards directly from the official website.
Each result card carries a QR code that allows online verification of its authenticity, the spokesperson said. The board added that the shift to soft copies will give students immediate and convenient access to their academic records.
Officials further said that eliminating hard copies will substantially cut printing and postal costs, saving the board tens of millions of rupees previously spent on printing and dispatching result cards.
