Report by Hashim Khan: (Sports Journalist) In line with directives from senior police leadership, Peshawar Capital City Police have intensified operations against street criminals and bike lifters, successfully dismantling an organized four-member gang.
The operation was conducted under the directives of SP City Division Shahid Adnan and the supervision of DSP Yakatoot Circle Asif Sharif Khan. SHO Bhana Mari Police Station, Sheharyar Ahmed, along with a police team, utilized modern scientific investigation techniques to trace and apprehend the suspects.
Details of the Arrested Suspects:
- Ajmal, son of Fazal Nabi
- Sohail, son of Abdul Qadoos
- Zeeshan, son of Awal Khan
- Daniyal, son of Inayat-ur-Rehman
Modus Operandi & Recoveries: According to police officials, the arrested individuals are residents of various areas across Peshawar and were involved in selling stolen motorcycles at throwaway prices. Police recovered 5 stolen motorcycles and thousands of rupees in cash from their possession.
Cases have been registered at Bhana Mari Police Station, and further investigations are underway, with police expecting more revelations and recoveries from the gang.
