Lionel Messi led Inter Miami back from 1-0 down to claim a 2-1 win against the New England Revolution.
The Argentinian had an assist and a goal to seal the come-from-behind result after the Herons gave up a goal in the 53rd minute.
Inter Miami responded 16 minutes later when Messi teamed up with Telasco Segovia to put German Berterame in a perfect position to equalize for the visitors.
Messi then scored the match-winning goal in the 83rd minute when he received a ball from Segovia, then beat three defenders and fired home from the top of the box.
It extended Messi’s league-leading goal scoring tally to 26.
The win sees Inter Miami leapfrog New England into second place in the Eastern Conference with one game left in the regular season.
