By Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have announced 790 vacancies in the Dolphin Force and invited applications from eligible male and female candidates across Pakistan. The recruitment advertisement was issued by the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control.
The vacancies include 2 posts of Sub-Inspector (BS-14), 38 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-11) and 750 posts of Constable (BS-07). Appointments will be made under provincial and regional quotas announced by the Federal Government.
Educational Qualifications
Sub-Inspector applicants must hold a second-class or Grade C bachelor’s degree (two years), an Associate Degree or BS (four years), or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Assistant Sub-Inspector applicants must hold a second-class or Grade C BA, BSc or post-intermediate Associate Degree from an HEC-recognised university. Constable applicants must have passed matriculation from a recognised board.
Age Limit
The age limit for all three posts is 18 to 25 years. An upper-age relaxation of five years applies under Federal Government rules.
Physical Standards
Male candidates must be at least 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a chest measurement of 33 to 34.5 inches. Female candidates must be at least 5 feet 2 inches tall.
All candidates must have 6/6 vision, with or without glasses, and near vision not below J-1.
Male candidates must complete a 1.6-kilometre run within seven minutes. Female candidates must complete the same distance within 10 minutes.
Application Process
Candidates who meet the criteria can apply through the application procedure provided by ICT Police. Applications are to be submitted online before November 15.
