Delaware Seeks Public Feedback on PFAS Response
Residents can raise contamination concerns and comment on state plans during a virtual listening session.
State agencies will gather Delaware residents’ concerns about PFAS contamination during an online listening session at 5 p.m. Nov. 18, seeking feedback on drinking water, testing access and public information.
The meeting will give participants an opportunity to comment on Delaware’s existing framework and implementation plan for addressing PFAS. Those documents outline efforts to limit exposure and protect public health.
Staff from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, the Division of Public Health and the Department of Agriculture will explain their work and answer questions. Agencies will record public comments for review.
Organizers encourage advance registration but do not require it. Residents can participate through Microsoft Teams or email comments beforehand.
