The Philadelphia Eagles are on the road for a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Washington Commanders.
Despite all the injuries the Eagles have had to deal with, the team still has potential, and the offense was able to finish multiple extended drives with a touchdown last week against Dallas. Unfortunately, it was the defense that underwhelmed last week, and they’ll have another challenge on Sunday night against the Commanders.
The NFC East isn’t totally out of reach just yet, but a loss on Sunday certainly feels like it would put a cap on the team’s potential — although having to watch this team in the playoffs might be it’s own punishment.

The Eagles have had bad luck on game days throughout the season, but with depth already a huge issue, here’s hoping that at a minimum, they get out of Sunday’s game without losing any more critical pieces.

Week 8 is here… hopefully the offense continues to show development and the defense doesn’t continue a downward spiral.
