Endeavor Pakistan has appointed Mubariz Siddiqui as Managing Director, effective 1 November 2026. He leads the local team and reports to the Endeavor Pakistan Board and Endeavor Global. His first priority is to find, early, the high-growth founders who will build Pakistan’s next large companies in every sector of the economy.
“Pakistan will produce companies that matter far beyond its borders. Our job is to find the founders behind them early, in every sector, and put the world’s best network behind them. Mubariz shares this ambition, and we are excited to back him on this mission,” said Mudassir Sheikha, Co-Founder and CEO of Careem and Founding Board Chair of Endeavor Pakistan.
Endeavor Pakistan will look for the country’s next great founders across the whole economy. Pakistan’s scaled companies sit in retail, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, service exports, and consumer brands as much as in software. Founders selected by Endeavor join a global network of entrepreneurs in over 45 markets, with access to mentors, peers, talent and capital. In return, they mentor, invest in, and inspire the founders who come after them. Endeavor calls this the Multiplier Effect. Mudassir Sheikha is himself an Endeavor Entrepreneur, and he now chairs the board that brings the same network to Pakistan’s founders.
“I’ve seen what happens when a founder meets the right people at the right time, and what happens when they don’t. Endeavor Pakistan exists to make that moment happen more often, then ask those founders to do the same for the next ones. That is how an ecosystem compounds. Mubariz knows this work from the inside, and I’m glad he’s the one leading it,” said Aaqib Gadit, Founding Board Member of Endeavor Pakistan.
“Entrepreneurship is the most credible path to social mobility in Pakistan. Our priority is to make
it a viable career for far more Pakistanis. Endeavor has helped build entrepreneurial ecosystems in markets around the world, and Endeavor Pakistan will bring that network and those lessons here. I want to hear from founders, mentors and institutions who want to build it with us,” said Mubariz Siddiqui.
Siddiqui has practised law since 2008 and has worked closely with Pakistan’s startup ecosystem since 2015. He founded Carbon Law, where he advised founders, investors and technology companies on venture financing, corporate structuring and regulation. He has paused his practice to take up this role. He served as General Counsel at Sarmayacar, a Pakistan-focused venture capital fund, and held senior legal roles on large corporate and infrastructure projects. He has worked with regulators on reforms for early-stage companies.
The Board thanks Shehryar Hydri, the outgoing Managing Director, for his leadership of Endeavor Pakistan and his contribution to its work with founders.
