By The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to appoint 36 new officers and staff members to speed up the verification of documents and apostilles.
The ministry has begun steps to make the verification process faster and more transparent. The additional staff will help ensure that applications are processed within the required time.
According to the sources, the new appointments are being made in line with transparency requirements and the relevant rules. Once the staff are in place, the ministry expects the time required to verify apostilles and other documents to fall further.
The sources added that most of the staff currently handling document verification at the ministry are from outside the ministry.
