The federal government has opened registrations for the Prime Minister’s IT Certification Reimbursement Program, offering eligible Pakistani IT graduates and professionals reimbursement of up to Rs. 70,000 for internationally recognised technology certifications.
Implemented by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, the initiative aims to strengthen the technical skills of local professionals and improve their access to international employment opportunities. Approved certifications include courses and examinations offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and Oracle.
Under the programme, applicants must register through the Tech Destination Skills portal, complete their profiles, and select an approved certification. They must then pass the relevant examination and submit their official certificate, examination fee receipt, and other required documents to claim reimbursement.
PSEB will verify the submitted information before approving payment. The Rs. 70,000 amount is the maximum reimbursement limit, not a fixed payment. The actual amount will depend on eligible certification expenses and the programme’s conditions.
