The Ohio High School Athletic Association boys soccer tournament is one step closer to state after several teams punched their tickets to the regional championships by winning a semifinal match on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
There were 15 Greater Cincinnati boys soccer programs in action across five divisions. When the dust settled, six are left chasing the title.
Here's are the division-by-division results from those games and a look ahead to the regional finals.
Division I boys soccer regional semifinal results

St. Xavier is hungry for a return to state in 2026.
The Bombers advanced to the regional finals for the third time in four years, defeating Milford 2-0 in the semifinals at Middletown. St. Xavier blitzed the Eagles out of the gates, dominating the first 20 minutes to take the decisive two-goal lead. St. Xavier senior Jack Sweeney was the catalyst on offense, assisting Eli Stewart and perfectly placing a corner kick for a Jack Dunn header.
"Sweeney did a great job creating from the left wing," Bombers head coach Brian Schaeper said. "We put a lot of work on set pieces and have been able to be successful with those recently."
Milford applied pressure near halftime and, again, got some good looks later in the second half. The Eagles just couldn't find the back of the net to cut into the lead, and St. Xavier's defense held firm.
Milford ends the year at 11-8-1, having knocked off higher-seeded Mason to reach the regional. The Eagles graduate six seniors: Brandon Rude, Charlie Gehringer, Mitch Puckett, Colt Barbro, Diego Gonzales and Jack Patterson.
At this point, reaching the regional finals is now the expectation for St. Xavier. The Bombers improve to 14-4-2 with seven straight wins heading into the next round.
"For us, it's the standard. We look to earn it every single day, because we know it's not given to us," Sweeney said.
The Bombers will face Kettering Fairmont in the finals at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Fenwick. Senior Jack Dunn said the sky's the limit for St. X this season.
"I don't think there's any reason we can't go all the way," Dunn said, "but we've got to earn it."
Walnut Hills, making its regional tournament debut after winning the program's first-ever district title, fell to Kettering Fairmont, 3-2, at Wright State University.
Walnut Hills, one of five Eastern Cincinnati Conference clubs still in on the hunt for a state title, finishes the year at 8-8-4. The Eagles will graduate 12 seniors: Joey Kurtz, Chester Gardner, Noah Cotton Riker, Alex Cabral, Anthony Kesler, Joey Piening, Walker Prentiss, Sam Cabral, Will Hamilton, Hunter Schenke, Kingston Spaeth and Jake Enia.
Sycamore boys soccer is one win away from its first-ever trip to the state Final Four.
Making its first regional semifinal appearance since 2020, the Aviators got an early goal and held off Moeller the rest of the way for a 1-0 victory. Sycamore, champions of the Greater Miami Conference, avenged a loss by the same score to the Crusaders on Aug. 29.
Moeller ends the year at 9-6-4. The Crusaders' seniors included Conner Vaughn, Jackson Jurkowitz, Gavin Young, Alex Cortez, Evan Roda, Jayden Fernandes, Eli Benne, Sam Hughes, Liam Breidenbach, Will Nestle, Brady Sanders, Benson Rhoads, Antonio Alzugaray, Darryl Webb and Andrew Everly.
Sycamore (16-4) will face Dublin Jerome in the regional championship at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Wright State University.
St. Xavier will face Kettering Fairmont in the regional finals at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Fenwick.
