According to The Telegraph, Real Madrid are preparing a fast-track development pathway for teenage sensation JJ Gabriel who is set to sign from Manchester United in January.
The 16-year-old English prodigy has snubbed interest from other clubs including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain in favour of a move to the Spanish capital club.
Real Madrid’s plans for JJ Gabriel
While the official contract has not been signed yet, Real Madrid and the youngster’s camp are understood to have reached a verbal agreement already.
The transfer is expected to go through during the January transfer window, subject to approval from FIFA, considering that the player is still 16 years old.
Real Madrid plan for Gabriel to immediately be integrated into their reserve team setup, Castilla, while also featuring in the UEFA Youth League for the Juvenil A (U19) side.

However, the idea is for the Manchester United teenager to be on a fast-track path to the senior setup.
Manager Jose Mourinho is already said to be aware of Gabriel’s talent and potential and insiders at Real Madrid firmly believe that it will not be long before he makes his first-team breakthrough.
Potential legal action from Manchester United?
Meanwhile, as reported earlier today, Manchester United are weighing the possibility of taking legal action against Real Madrid should the transfer of Gabriel go through.
The 16-year-old attacking talent has not reported to training with the Red Devils since September after walking out despite his registration with the club still being valid.

Since then, the Premier League giants are understood to have been completely in the dark with regard to his next steps as there has been no communication from his camp or Real Madrid to them.
As such, Manchester United are not ruling out the possibility of taking legal action.
Should the transfer go through and be approved by FIFA, the English giants will be owed a nominal fee of around £300,000 in training compensation.
Despite some issues still being left to be resolved, Gabriel is expected to become a Real Madrid player come January. And their plans suggest they see the teenager as more than a promising academy signing.
