By The Texas high school volleyball playoffs continue this week with several Texoma teams advancing after area-round victories.
Wichita Falls Memorial, Holliday, Nocona and Windthorst are among the teams still competing for a state championship, while Saint Jo and Harrold continue their postseason runs in Class 1A.
Memorial rallied from a two-set deficit to defeat El Paso Burges in five sets Tuesday. Holliday also survived a five-set match against Whitesboro, while Nocona and Windthorst advanced with victories over Coleman and Albany, respectively.
Regional semifinal matches for Classes 2A-6A are scheduled Thursday through Saturday. Class 1A teams compete in regional quarterfinals during the same period.
Here are the next-round playoff pairings for Wichita Falls-area volleyball teams.
Class 5A Division II
Regional semifinals
Memorial vs. Abilene Wylie, time and location TBD.
Class 3A Division I
Regional semifinals
Holliday vs. Shallowater, 1 p.m. Saturday at Benjamin High School.
Boyd vs. Bushland, 3 p.m. Saturday at Vernon High School.
Class 3A Division II
Regional semifinals
Childress vs. Paradise, 7 p.m. Thursday at Iowa Park High School.
Class 2A Division I
Regional semifinals
Nocona vs. Highland Park, noon Friday at Childress High School.
Class 2A Division II
Regional semifinals
Windthorst vs. Wink, 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Moody Coliseum, Abilene Christian University.
Class 1A
Regional quarterfinals
Saint Jo vs. Strawn, time and location TBD.
Harrold vs. Perrin-Whitt, Thursday, time and location TBD.
