New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry is officially listed as questionable to play in Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Henry suffered a foot injury that forced him to leave last week's game against the Miami Dolphins early. He missed the first two practices earlier in the week, but he returned as a limited participant at Friday's practice.
The Patriots didn't elevate another tight end to the active roster on Saturday, which could be a good sign that Henry is going to try to play through the injury. If Henry doesn't play, rookie third-round draft pick Eli Raridon would project to the top of the depth chart as the No. 1 option, with Tanner Arkin and Cameron Latu serving as the reserve options.
With top wide receiver A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs both sidelined, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has leaned more heavily on Henry as his safety blanket in the passing attack. Not having that option against the Packers' top-ranked passing defense would be a huge loss for the Patriots.
However, the offense could look improved in Week 9 if Henry does play. Patriots veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins is returning from injured reserve, which means Maye could have two of his most reliable receiving targets back on the field at the same time for this matchup.
