By Former Australian pacer Ashley Noffke has stepped down as Pakistan’s white-ball bowling coach.
He has informed the PCB about his decision.
However he will serve in the capacity during the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
Noffke has been appointed as head coach of the Netherlands. He succeeds Ryan Cook who is stepping back to spend more time with his family.
Noffke has signed a two-year contract with the Netherlands Cricket Board.
Noffke served Pakistan in the role for around 16 months.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), meanwhile, announced bowling coach opportunity for the men’s national team.
According to the advertisement, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving the bowling skills of Pakistan’s national team players. The role requires a professional with strong knowledge of modern bowling techniques, game analysis, player development and international coaching standards.
The PCB has set several requirements for applicants. Candidates must hold at least a Level III cricket coaching accreditation and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience working with elite cricketers, national or international teams, franchises or similar cricketing environments. Experience in monitoring coaching systems, developing bowlers and working with athletes to international standards is also required.
The ideal candidate should possess strong planning, management, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills, professionalism, integrity and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds are also highlighted. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and coaching software would be an added advantage.
