Saturday night would have been a great time for the annual GREEN OUT game inside Notre Dame Stadium with No. 1 Miami coming to town, but that’s absolutely not what’s going on here.
On Sunday, the Notre Dame Football social accounts put out a video to express that they will continue to honor the life and legacy of Coach Holtz.
In the video, you can clearly see there is something going on with the uniform, but what it exactly is — well that’s not so clear.

I don’t believe this is just a patch that’s going on Notre Dame’s regular home uniforms from Under Armour. Perhaps there’s some work on the collar and/or cuffs — I’m not sure. What is interesting, however, was a tweet sent out by Cal Swarbrick with some eye emojis. Swarbrick, the sone of Jack Swarbrick and employee of Under Armour, probably doesn’t tweet this if it’s just a patch or something to that effect.
It’s going to be a massive game on Saturday night and Notre Dame seems to be planning things that will match the importance of this game.
Now… what are they going to do about the team entrance and stadium music, because that needs a lot of help.
